Repotting the Deshojo

A few months ago I have been discussing about a new possible bowl in German bonsai-fachforum. It was quite interesting, becauses there were several different opinions about forms, glazes and measures.

Somehow the very famous German pot-artist "Peter Krebs" joined the discussion and offered me to establish a new pot particularly for the deshojo.

My choice was again a bowl with a red glaze but this time in a round form. I especially love the new glaze, because if you look at it very carefully - you can see the orange gleam. Anyway, it reminds me on the "Sunburst" from a Fender-Jazz-Bass!

Besides I decided for a new front-side. From this view the trunk-movement and nebari look extraordinary good! The next step is, tensing some branches downwards ... but not until autumn.

    Zuerst habe ich mich ein wenig verkopft, dass die neue Schale etwas zu tief ist. Aber nach dem Eintopfen, als das Ergebnis sichtbar wurde, war ich mehr als nur zufrieden :) Die bauchige Form und die tolle Glasur - einfach klasse.
    Wenn der Baum dann im Laub da steht, wird er so richtig verrückt aussehn´!
