Deshojo - Update

Today I have worked on the acer below. I cleaned the base from moss, put some branches in position with wire and cleaned this funky red pot with grease.

Pot by Peter KREBS.

New Mugo Pine survived

I collected this interesting pine in May 2011. Now I just have to take care to bring it safely through the cold winter months! It has all attitudes to become once a really cool cascade :)

Juniperus Itoigawa, Shohin

Some current images from my souvenir, bought at the Noelander´s Trophy 2011:

Prunus Mahaleb No. 3

I got this wild cherry in a trade with my friend Stefan Steininger. He collected this very interesting piece few years ago in Lower Austria.

First image - front side, second image - back side:

Pinus Nigra No. 1

I happily got this fabulous pine from my friend Wolfgang Putz. It was already collected in spring time of 2005.

As you can see, I took some images from all four sides. I can imagine to set the front like the first image shown. The trunk movement from this angle is just the best. What do you think?

Betula Pubescens No. 1

In August, this little tree found the way into my collection! It´s just my 2nd birch after 6 years dealing with bonsais. It gives me a great pleasure!

Sad to say, but the back side is barely leafed. But at least there are many new buds and I hope that they will sprout the next spring.
