Weekend in Upper and Lower Austria

Last weekend we had the chance to visit our friend Wolfgang Putz not only for a few hours but this time for almost 2 days. It was again a great experience to talk and discuss about his trees, techniques and cultivation. I guess we saw almost everything one can find in his mind blowing garden!

As if that wasn´t enough ... We payed a visit to Horst Heinzlreiter, a great bonsai potter and a keen yamadori collector. By the way, I am a big fan of his potteries!
We were quite surprised when Horst showed us almost the whole procedure how to make pottery! It was cool making our own pots with a little help from Horst and Johnny Cash in the background :-)

The last stop was at Stefan Steininger´s and afterwards at Gerhard´s in Lower Austria. These people showed us their whole bonsai collection ... I can say it´s worth seeing!!!
