The next work I´m gonna do is shaping the dead wood with power tools. I´m planning to do that in spring 2011 (just before budding). In the meantime I´ll let the tree grow freely.

The big Berta
The hornbeam is unfortunately not really showing that growth how I was expecting. Due to that I started to fatten the tree with dryed chicken shit and liquid fertilizers vigorously. I´m curious to see how it´s gonna work in the next few months.
