Beginning of the new Yamadori Season

Today was a nice weather for a few yamadoris to land in our garden. Dave digged a hawthorn and a beech and I decided for a beech in a multiple-trunk form. This has been a very successful day!

  2. Cool man!
The carpinus looks realy good! This is my favourite species. Easy to care, easy to form and has a great surviving rate.
I'm coriously waiting the first pictures about the styling.
    Cheers!

  3. Hi Jere,

nice that you finally found the way back :)

    Balázs my friend,

I know it´s not so easy to recognize - but it´s a fagus sylvatica. It´s harder to care compared with carpinus, but I love the foliage and the opulent ramification. No matter.

There will soon be new pictures from fagus. I´m just defoliating the tree ... pffff a never ending-story, man! So my next step is to cut off a few buds and bring the tree back in balance (roots / foliage).

    Greetings,
    Igor
