Huge Fagus Forest

After all, the monster found the way to our garden :) The digging, transporting and transplanting-work took up the whole day!

The measures of the root bale were 1 m x 60 cm. Man, it was so pretty hard to find such a jumbo container! I´ve been in 2 tree nurseries and 4 garden centers till i found the right box.

For this tree, I combined the soil-components as follows:

25 lt. expanded clay for drainage
4 bags akadama
2 bags kiryu
60 lt. fibotherm
25 lt. potting soil
and a little bit mykorrhiza
