back again with a few impressions from my latest fagus scouting tour. There is a really big number of these small, ramified fagus bushes in this forest. The roes do the shaping works very well :)








This one looks like a common, 5-meters-tall beech at the first moment, BUT .....

if you check the lower part of the trunk, you´ll see the potential. Unfortunately I wasn´t able to uncover the nebari totally, because of the frozen ground. So I´m gonna try in a few weeks again.
Well, I´m looking forward to saw down the tree up to this hight. The cut surface would have to be arranged with a milling machine. Great material for obtaining a small but terrific SUMO!
